This digital back is the perfect fit for the Hasselblad system to digitize the legendary Hasselblad V-system cameras. The sensor is the same CCD sensor that is used in some of Phase One’s IQ 1 and 2 series cameras. This digital back has often been used by museums to take pictures of their artwork to then place online for viewings because of the excellent color reproduction that it is capable of. Shooting with this digital back on a V-mount Hasselblad body would be similar to shooting with an A16 (6×4.5) film back. Please be aware that this will not deliver a 6×6 frame, however there are multiple crop modes available, including a 4×4 square format.

Please be aware that the screen for this digital back is slow. Also this digital back will only work on Hasselblad V-mount bodies that are capable of using C/CF lenses or lenses that have their shutter within the lens. Please make sure that your camera is capable of syncing with this digital back before renting from us.
